Fit well. I ended up cutting off the two loops up the top as I have thick ankles courtesy of my Welsh and Scottish ancestors and the loops lost the argument. They're comfy to walk in. No need for thick socks. Wear well for a long time and hold up well in wet, mud, hail and hot days - a good all rounder shoe.
