    I was sceptical at first because I have 16 inch calves and typically knee-high boots without a zipper pr buckles all the way to the top do not fit me. However these said "stretch" and stretch they did. They are snug on my calves but in a comfortable way and I can feel they could stretch more if needed. They are easy to walk in and feel very secure around my ankles (important for platforms). The toe area is spacious so you're not at risk of loosing a toenail. But be mindful that they are wide and chunky, not narrow and dainty, if that's more the look you're going for. I'm usually a size 9 and sized up to 10 and the fit is great. They are the perfect go go boots! A must buy!
